EPEAT is used as a responsible procurement tool by purchasers across over 50 countries. With the launch of EPEAT 2.0, we are committed to ensuring that purchasers continue to have access to the largest selection of sustainable brands and products. Purchasers are encouraged to continue specifying EPEAT in their policies and tenders, and to refer to the EPEAT Registry for a growing list of EPEAT 2.0 products.
The transition to EPEAT 2.0 will take place in a phased manner. Both EPEAT 2.0 and EPEAT 1.0 products will be available on the Registry throughout the transition period. Products meeting EPEAT 2.0 criteria start appearing on the EPEAT Registry from December 2025 and will continue to grow in number over time.
